About Boundless Exposed 2019

Boundless Exposed is a workshop and mentoring program for early-career theatre designers of color. During this program, emerging designers have the ability to take the lead on an original installation design inspired by a short play. The program includes collaborative workshopping with peers and mentors, hands-on execution of the project, and a final showcase open to the public. Designers are selected through an application process.

Our 2019 participants, early-career designers Asia-Anansi McCallum, Alexis Perez, and Carol Jeong, had the opportunity to create an original installation inspired by Migdalia Cruz’s Fur. The final presentation of this project took place on Saturday, June 1st, 2019 at the Julia de Burgos Performance and Arts Center in East Harlem.
